Zee TV’s fiction show Main Hoon Aparajita focuses on the journey of Aparajita (played by famous actress Shweta Tiwari), a doting mother of 3 daughters, who is preparing them for the rollercoaster called life after her ex-husband Akshay (Manav Gohil) finds love outside of the marriage with Mohini (Shweta Gulati). In the recent episodes, viewers witnessed how Aparajita’s laundry shop caught fire during the Holi celebration. Although, Aparajita did manage to save Chhavi (Anushka Merchande) from fire, but missed seeing Niya (Garvita Sadhwani), which led to her getting badly burnt. And now Aparajita has been blamed by the family for overlooking Niya intentionally just because she is Mohini’s daughter.

 To get into the skin of the character, every actor goes through a lot of preparation, physically and mentally. And just like that, in the recent fire sequence, beautiful actress Garvita Sadhwani did not only impress everyone with her acting skills but donned the time-consuming prosthetic makeup wonderfully.

In fact, the actress recently took to her social media handle and shared a photo of herself working with the prosthetics makeup team for her burnt look. That’s not it, the actor revealed how it took her three hours to put on and remove the prosthetic makeup daily for a couple of days. 

Excited by this new development in her character, Garvita said “As an actor, I aspire to experiment with art. And after shooting the fire sequence, I’m quite ecstatic. I’m a big fan of costumes, make-up, prosthetics and changing my look as I get to experiment and play around with different things. There were burnt bruises that I had to put on throughout the scenes and while it was surely a task in maintaining it, I believe in the end the effort was truly worth it. It was quite a challenging role for me and I’m grateful such an interesting character development came my way. It took me three hours to put on and remove prosthetic makeup on an everyday basis, which was a very time-consuming task.  And I must say, all the credit goes to the makeup artists who made this happen.”

Even Manav Gohil who plays the role of Niya’s father in Main Hoon Aparajita, commented on her social media post, saying “You’ve done a super job girl…proud of you.”

While Garvita is ecstatic with her character development, it will be interesting for the viewers to watch when Aparajita will get to know that it was Mohini who planned this short circuit in Aparajita’s laundry that led to her own daughter getting burnt in the fire. But will Aparajita ever be able to prove her innocence?
