“It Was My Dream Come True To Sing For Sanjay Leela Bhansali,” Says Neeti Mohan On The Kapil Sharma Show

Well-known playback singer Neeti Mohan will be seen on The Kapil Sharma Show this Sunday where she will be seen sharing various experiences of her initial days. The super talented singer has seen her share of struggles and through sheer dedication and hard work she has reached where she has and left a mark in Bollywood playback singing.

Neeti Mohan recalls the moment when she had gone for her first audition. “There were thousands of people who had gathered for the audition of Channel ’s Popstars show in Delhi. Looking at the crowd, I got so nervous and demotivated, that I returned home. My father, was up all night watching the Britney Spears’s Live concert. At 4 am, he just woke me up and took me to the auditions. From being a contestant, then a winner, to a judge and now to a playback singer, I never looked back.”

When she entered the world of playback singing, it was her dream to sing for ace-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and her dream came true when she got an opportunity to sing the melodious song “Nainovale Ne”  from the movie ‘Padmavat’. Another memorable experience was when Neeti was recording ‘Jiya Re’ from the movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. She had to record the song in front of the music maestro AR Rehman, Yash Chopra & Gulzar. Neeti said, “I was so overwhelmed to record in front of three legends that I was not able to sing and it took me a lot of effort to finally be able to record the song.” She thanks her destiny for giving her the opportunity to sing for such stalwarts.
