'I’VE BEEN A NICOTINE ADDICT SINCE I WAS 15': RANBIR KAPOOR

The trailer of the most anticipated film Sanju recently hit the market and the audience has gone frenzy since then. Ranbir Kapoor playing the titular role in the film is appreciated for his performance. In a recent interview with GQ, Ranbir who is looking like the exact replica of Sanjay Dutt revealed that he too became addicted to nicotine at a very young age just like Sanjay Dutt.

The actor talked about his shopping destination, personal style, film project and a lot more. Ranbir also talked about his love life and nicotine addiction that shocked the nation.

While interacting with GQ, Ranbir talked about how nicotine addiction is the worst and how hard it is to get rid of it.

GQ: I heard you were giving vaping a go.

RK: I quit smoking for four months, then started rolling cigarettes again just last month – just one or two a day. It’s something I’m scared of because I’ve been a nicotine addict since I was 15, and it’s the worst kind of addiction. It’s taken me trips to Austria, to this doctor who gave me injections in my ears, to help me quit smoking the first time, because I don’t think I have the willpower to give it up on my own. But vaping isn’t working for me either – you can’t leave one habit for another. Eventually it’ll just come back more ferociously.

Ranbir also admitted dating Alia Bhatt in the interview. He will be next seen in Sanju and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt.
