That morning Amjad Khan as the President of the Cine Artists Association had led a star protest and a procession to the office of the Stardust magazine in Worli -  Ali Peter John

Almost all the big stars had participated in the angry protest which was I think a show of anger or support for something a gossip journalist called Troy Rebeiro and Anupam Kher had been an ugly part of .

Amjad was not keeping very well , but since he agreed with the cause , he was an active part of the protest . .

The staff at Stardust were quite hostile to the stars and the disgusted stars left a memorandum for the editor and the management and left the office to take a bus and reach the Mehboob Studio to have a tea break and to take stock of what had happened at the protest .

Amjad was sitting with some of the leaders of the protest , which included Sanjay Dutt who was very much in the news those days because of his encounters with drugs and other kinds of encounters .

It was while a heated conversation was going on to that Shah Rukh Khan who was still a new comer but had made quite a name came down and walked past Amjad and the other stars seated with him .....

And before he could take the first turn to reach the floor on which he was to shoot , the entire crowd at Mehboob Studios was taken by shock when Sanjay Dutt ran after Shah Rukh with the clear intention of roughing him up .

Sanjay was very upset with the young Shah Rukh for showing disrespect towards " Amjad Bhai " who was the leader of all the artists .

It took several stars and others to bring Sanjay back , but it was difficult to control him.

Many said Shah Rukh could have been in serious trouble if Sanjay had caught hold of him that morning ...

However some years later , when Sanjay was in serious trouble over his drugs problem and his bomb blasts case , it was Shah Rukh Khan who was one of the first stars to come out in support of Sanjay and Sunil Dutt was very thankful to " this new boy who mark my words will one day be a very big star in our industry " .

At one stage , Shah Rukh even called Sanjay "my elder brother who has always been ready to help me whenever I was in trouble "

But , why is neither Sanjay nor Amitabh nor Akshay Kumar , nor Ajay Devgn, nor any of the delicate beauties not being saying a word about what Shah Rukh and his son Aryan Khan are going through for the last one month ? Aise thodi na hota hai dillwaalo ki nagri mein ?
