There is a old saying which says , "where there a will there is a way". And this saying in modern times means ","courage , confidence and conviction makes a conqueror " . And to no other man do these sayings apply than to the showman Subhash Ghai - Ali Peter John

At a time when the pandemic was at its peak and people were scared of taking any risks , especially in the field of making films and people had lost faith in their own future and the future of the film industry itself , there was one man who sat alone in his twelfth floor apartment at Cliff Towers near the miraculous church of Mount Mary and worked out plans to give his banner , Mukta Arts , his school , WWI and his creative team a new hope and direction . That man was Subhash Ghai who has been working wonders for the last forty odd years .

Ghai has never known what it means to sit idle at home and so he planned out a new course of action for himself that would benefit others .

The showman knew that the times were difficult and he would not be able to make his kind of ambitious and exciting films and so he started writing his own scripts .

And even before the lockdown could take a heavy toll , Ghai who has been the mind behind the scripts of all his films had completed writing three scripts in different genres . He was confident that the scripts he wrote would one day be made into feature films .

Ghai who has always moved with the changing times realized the potential of films being made for the OTT platforms and decided to make his own film for the OTT platform .

The Showman who has always worked with big stars or has made stars big decided to make a film with newcomers and the result was his big and difficult decision to make " 36 Farm House " a film which was to be very different from all the nineteen films he had made .

The entire film was almost shot in and around Lonavala where he once used to shoot only parts of his big films . The entire story of the film is about all that happens in a bungalow where mysterious , haunting and entertaining things happen .

The film is not directed by Ghai , but by the young Ram Ramesh Sharma who has according to those who have had the chance to see glimpses of the film has done a brilliant job which has elated the showman .

Besides being the searchlight and the guiding force behind the film , the showman has also made his debut as a lyricist and a composer with one of his songs even sung by Sonu Nigam who had first sung his popular song in Ghai's "Pardes" while Shah Rukh Khan was still trying to reach the top .

And besides all these creative activities , the showman has also been attending meetings at the WWI to see how the school he founded can be made a better institution than it is . Incidentally , WWI is one of the ten best film schools in the world .
