Japan Foundation And PVR Cinemas Host Japanese Film Festival From 27th September’19

Kon’nichiwa Delhi! Bigger and better, Japan Foundation, New Delhi, in partnership with PVR Cinemas is hosting the Japanese Film Festival 2019 in India (JFF-India). The diverse and exciting film-line up includes 25 specially curated Japanese titles of varied genres and styles. The first leg of the six-month Festival will begin in Delhi-NCR from 27^th September’19 at select PVR Cinemas’ properties. The 10-day Film Festival in Delhi-NCR will open with the India Premiere of “Weathering with You” at PVR Select CITYWALK, Saket, New Delhi.

JFF-India 2019-20 aims to strengthen the longstanding relationship between the two nations by offering Indian audience a sense of contemporary Japanese film culture and everyday experience. The films selected will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles for the viewer’s convenience.

Entry to the Festival is free and on a first come, first serve basis with on-spot registration for each screening. Seating is limited to venue capacity.
Film Passes are available 30 minutes before each screening at the designated Reception Desk of the Festival.
The Japan Foundation will give out Festival Merchandise as gifts to audiences who watch at least 5 Films during the Festival and/or fill out the Festival Feedback Form.
