Javed Ali lends his voice for a special Sufi song in ‘Mere Sai’

It’s not every day that an artist gets a golden opportunity to be associated with a prestigious show like ‘Mere Sai’ on Sony Entertainment Television. Renowned vocalist Javed Ali who is known for his soulful singing gracefully agreed to lend his voice for a beautiful song that would be a part of Mere Sai. Javed Ali is not only delighted that he has got this opportunity but is elated to know that this will be occurring on the momentous occasion of the 100^th Tithi of Shree Sai Baba’s Samadhi.

When contacted, an elated Javed Ali confirmed, “It’s a proud moment for me to sing a song on for a show like ‘Mere Sai’, and its more special because this is the month of Sai Baba’s 100 tithi anniversary. The song is truly amazing and has been composed by Devendra ji.  It’s the first time that I’m singing a Sufi kind of song for a television show. Mere Sai is such a beautiful show and Devendra ji approached me for this particular song which is truly my good fortune. He told me the concept of song and about the show after the briefing, I completely understood what is the manner that I have to sing for this special song and also about the greatness of the show. Whenever Sai baba’s name is uttered, it sounds spiritual. All of my emotions are deeply entrenched in this song. Its a situational song which is based on Sai Baba’s Samadhi where people are thinking Sai baba will come back once again from his Samadhi. It’s been recorded in an elegant way and I would love to sing for Mere Sai again.”
