Star Plus is bringing its viewers a completely new-age show ‘Aanandi Baa aur Emily’, with a super cast of Jazzy Ballerini as the show’s titular character ‘Emily’. Starring alongside her are Mishkat Varma as ‘Aarav’ and Kanchan Gupta in the role of a traditional mother-in-law ‘Aanandi Baa’.

The dynamic actress Jazzy Ballerini, who has been auditioned for more than 500 times for many roles over the years, will be seen portraying the role of a ‘Videshi Bahu’. Her list of acting credits is long when it comes to Indian cinema and television.

Jazzy has always been an avid learner of the arts and she was fascinated by India’s diverse cultures. This led to her auditioning many times for roles in Indian film and television.

We are absolutely delighted to have her on-board this new show ‘Aanandi Baa aur Emily’ where we will get a chance to see her magic on-screen.

Jazzy on her audition process for her role in ‘Aanandi Baa aur Emily’, “I didn’t have much understanding of TV shows before I actually auditioned. But I was excited to find out more about the role.

I wanted to learn more about it. The audition process for my role on ‘Aanandi Baa aur Emily’ went very smoothly. Even though it was during lockdown times.

Within a few days I was confirmed for the role of ‘Emily’. I honestly didn’t know, at that time, what I was getting myself into.

I didn’t know how amazing this opportunity really is until started filming. When I spoke to my friends about it and they were really supportive and told me that Star Plus has one of the best content and serials. So, I’m excited to be a part of this show!”

The show is set in a small-town of Gujarat where people are very traditional and have some principles that they strictly follow.
