Jia Shankar and Karan Suchak from &TV’s Meri Hanikarak Biwi join Tirangaa Dandiya Night 2019

Jia Shankar aka Ira and Karan Suchak aka Akhilesh from &TV's show Meri Hanikarak Biwi recently joined in the festive fervor of the city by attending a Dandiya night. The couple spread their love and cheer amongst the youngsters and oldies who came to enjoy the night. Here's what they have to say about the night:

Karan Suchak aka Akhilesh shares, "Being a Gujarati, Navratri holds a very special place for me and celebrating Navratri every year with the family has been a tradition. But this year due to hectic shoot schedules I wasn't been able to go to my hometown but like they say if you truly wish for something, God makes it happen. And here I was celebrating the festival with my audience at Tirangaa Dandiya Night 2019, interacting and doing dandiya raas live at the event. It was super fun to see the festive spirit with the audience cheering and celebrating the festivities in large numbers. With Jia too joining in the celebrations with me on the stage, it became merrier dancing to a fun gig on the tunes of high octane dandiya beats."

Jia Shankar aka Ira shares, "The city lights up every year to celebrate the festival of Navratri with great enthusiasm and joy. This time, it became grander for us as we got an opportunity to interact and perform dandiya live with the audience. It was utmost fun to see children, youngsters even senior citizens swooning to the beats of Dandiya with so much passion for the dance. Since childhood, I have always liked to dress up for the festival and attend Dandiya nights and to see the young girls and teens all decked up for the season took me back to my childhood days. We couldn't help and also break into a few dance moves on the stage to get into the festive cheer with the audience. In all, the night was super fun and we enjoyed a lot looking at people dressed in their festive best and showing off their best dandiya moves all night long."
