Beliebers world over are sulking right now and so are we! After having been on a tour for a good 18 months, Variety confirmed that pop star Justin Bieber will no longer be continuing with his Purpose world tour. After 154 successful shows, and having grossed $93.2million from the tour, Justin Bieber has canceled the remaining shows due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
While most of Bieber's remaining shows were in the US, he was to perform in a few Asian countries such as Indonesia, Japan and Hong Kong amongst others. Bieber hasn't been available for any comments. Just after the news came out, he was spotted in Santa Monica beach by TMZ. Reportedly, he responded to the questions asked by the reporter and said that “Everything’s fine … I’ve been on tour for two years. I’m going to spend time resting, relaxing, gonna ride some bikes.” Asked whether he had a message for his fans, he said, “I love you guys, you’re awesome, I’m sorry for anyone who feels disappointed or betrayed.”
The announcement was made shortly after China banned Justin Bieber from performing in the country for 'bad behaviour'. The statement released on his Facebook account went something like this-
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration, he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
We are not sure about what actually happened but if Justin's canceled the tour just to get some 'time to chill', he might just lose out on some Beliebers as a lot of them would be left infuriated and disappointed.
