Raj Kapoor was so passionate about making his flims that he first built R.K Studios in Chembur , a remote suburb of Bombay, which was only known for the Bhabha atomic research center and the jungles and bispilleries and the little houses of the villagers around - Ali Peter John

It was only after he built his studio and was successful that he built his own cottage in a village called Deonar and gave it the name Deonar Cottage.

It was the beginning of a long story and Raj Kapoor kept making his flims at R.K Studio and had the biggest parties at his Cottage.

The Studio became one of the best known studios in the country and was a landmark which was on the itinerary of every leader from different countries of the world who visited Bombay. People use to say , " R.K Studio nahi dekha toh kya khaak dekha ? " .

Raj Kapoor who was now known as the Showman of India and was known all over the world for his flims and for his showmanship.

His stay under the sun kept growing brighter for the next 40 years . Then in 1987 , Raj Kapoor died and R.K Studio kept losing its importance.

And three years ago the studio was engulfed in a big fire which destroyed all the important places in the studio.

Even earlier, other flim makers who use to shoot at the R.K Studio stopped shooting in the studio because they found it to far and then as if like slapping their father, his son sold whatever was left of the Studio to the Godrejs .

And now were there was the huge R.K studio, there is a massive housing complex and the only thing left of the Studio is the Banner of R.K flims and Studio.

The Cottage saw the first signs of change when Randhir Kapoor got married to the actress Babita and they separated within a short time.

Raj's elder daughter Ritu married Rajan Nanda and moved to New Delhi. His second son , Rishi got married his leading lady ,Neetu Singh and built his own Bungalow on Pali Hill and name it " Krishna Raj " after his parents, Krishna and Raj .

He moved into an apartment after his Bungalow was demolished he moved were he died after his sister Ritu died of cancer ( they both died of cancer ) .

Raj's third daughter, Rima married into the Jain Family of Delhi and has been living their ever since she got married.

His third son , Rajeev was not as successful as his other brothers, he also had trouble with his marriage and lived in Pune were he had his farm which originally belong to his father, Raj .

He died of a massive heart attack during the lockdown . Krishna , the wife of Raj died of age- related problems two years ago .

Randhir was now living all alone at Deonar Cottage and he moved out of the Cottage to live close to his daughter's, Karishma and Kareena . And when he left the Cottage last month, it was the end of the saga of Raj Kapoor ....

AUR AISE KHATAM HUI RAJ KAPOOR KI DASTAAN . LEKIN , KUCH LOG AISE HOTE HAI JINKA SAB KUCH LOOT JAATA HAI AUR TOOT JAATA HAI, PAR UNKI YAADEIN AUR UNKA KAAM UNKO HAMESHA ZINDA RAKHTE HAI .
