There has not been a moment when I have not lived with my mother and there is no night that I have not had dreams, some of the most unusual and unbelievable dreams ....

Strangely I had not seen any dream about my mother , but last night , I had the proud privilege of seeing my mother in my dream .

She was dressed in her favourite flowery dress and was carrying a bouquet of white roses in her hands .

I was thoroughly delighted and I could see her happiness dancing in her eyes , because she had seen her favourite son after 60 years. She was a picture of what mothers should be, but most are not.

She told me that she had come to me with a request. I told her I could do anything for her.

I was surprised when she told me that she had brought the bouquet for Shah Rukh Khan and wanted to thank him .

I asked her how she knew Shah Rukh when he was not even born when she had left . And she said , " a good boy like Shah Rukh is not only known on earth, but also in heaven where he was recognized as a good human being by God and where every angel was in madly in love with him "

I asked my mother what she wanted to thank Shah Rukh for. And she said , " I want to thank the little boy for saving you and your foot .

Do people still have the heart to help people in need ? " And I next saw my morher sitting with Shah Rukh and talking to him as if she knew him since he was born .

She was telling Shah Rukh how he was admired and loved in heaven, like he was in almost all the countries of the world .

Shah Rukh kept listening to her like he had only listened to hid mother. And when she had told Shah Rukh about what she had to tell him , she wanted to leave and go back , she was willing and wanted to go back to her house in heaven, but Shah Rukh walked with her till the gate of his palace, "Mannat".

Shah Rukh touched her feet before she vanished from his sight and flew away into the sky and beyond...

And when she had vanished from my dream, I went into a flashback about that moment when a water tanker had knocked me out and had crushed my left foot .

I remembered how I saw my foot look like minced meat (kheema) , how some strangers rushed me from one hospital to another and I was finally admitted to the Nanavati Hospital where I spent more than four months in pain.

It was only Shah Rukh who came to my rescue the morning after my accident, when his manager Ms Karuna Badwal came to the hospital and told the hospital authorities that all the expenses would be paid by Shah Rukh.

Shah Rukh kept his promise(in a world where promises are made only to break) and paid a bill of rupees 18 lakhs, when l limped out of hospital .

The entire staff, the doctors , nurses and other medical staff treated me in a very different way when the news about Shah Rukh bearing my expenses spread

I know Shah Rukh feels embarrassed when I think him or even mention anything about how he rescued me .

That what I can do? I am a grateful son of a grateful mother
