‘Kalank’: Varun Dhawan kickstarts shoot with a dance number featuring Kiara Advani

Karan Johar's multi-starrer ‘Kalank’ has been grabbing all the attention since it's very first poster and announcement, the work on the movie has begun and the latest reports suggest it's going to be one hell of a ride. Bringing back Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit along with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha, the film helmed by Johar is, in fact, his filmmaker father Yash Johar's dream project.

According to a report, Varun kickstarted the film’s shoot with a song sequence which also stars Kiara Advani in a special appearance. Interestingly, the actor danced with around 500 backup dancers and rehearsed for four days before shooting the final shot. He also kept hitting the gym erected on the sets in between the shots to get a perfectly sculpted body for the song.

For the record, ‘Kalank’ is being directed by Abhishek Varman of ‘2 States’ fame.
