35 years of film, 'Pushpak Vimana'

'Pushpak Vimana' is a black comedy film released in 1987. It was written and directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and co-produced with Shringaar Nagaraj. Kamal Haasan is in the lead role in this film, which also stars Sameer Khakhar, Tinu Anand, K.S. Ramesh, Amla, Farida Jalal, Pratap Potan, Loknath, P.L. Narayan and Ramya are involved. This film was a mute film without any dialogue and this is the reason why this film has actors from all over India.

Pushpak Vimana is the story of an unemployed graduate who meets a drunken rich man and takes over his lifestyle by taking him captive, without knowing that he is now the target of a hired killer. Pushpak Vimana won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment as a Kannada language entry. The film was highly appreciated and was a box-office success.

Talking about the completion of the film Kamal Hasan shared on his Twitter account "Among the great directors I have worked with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is the youngest to date. Our endeavor called Pushpak is now older than us it is 35 years old. Sir we have to keep our art young can't allow it to age. I know you would chuckle, it is one of my favorite music."

Talking about the recent work of actor, Kamal Haasan was last seen in the film 'Vikram' alongside Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. The film was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
