Kangana on warpath with Filmfare

Actress Kangana Ranaut is at war with Filmfare magazine for having nominated her for the Best Actress award for her performance in the folm Thalaivi. She has filed a case against them and dubbed the Filmfare awards as unfair and illegal and above board and called them utterly unfair - Jyothi Venkatesh

Kangana reiterates that since 2014 she has been refusing to attend the awards or receive them and has asked Filmfare to revoke the award given to her in spite of asking them not to consider her any of their awards as she feels they are very biased. It may be noted that this year Filmfare has also nominated other actresses like Kiara Advani,Tapsee Pannu, Kriti Sanon etc besides Kangana for their performances on their respective films.

In a huff after Kangana's decision to file a case against Filmfare for nominating her this year, yhe Filmfare management has decided to revoke their decision to nominate Kangana for her performance in Thalavi.

Kangana has won the first round in the war. Whether Filmfare Awards have lost their credibility is yet to be sern even while a few people snigger that the awards are only a ploy to make money by selling tickets while a vast majority allege that the awards have lost their sheen with only a few privilegrd ones with money power bagging almost all the awards year after year
