Kangana Ranaut, is one of the few people in Bollywood that have known to always speak their mind. So it comes as no surprise that when asked about the recent comments on the Pulwama terror attacks, she again spoke her mind and from the heart. The incident in question shook the nation after terrorists mercilessly killed 40 CRPF soldiers.
Speaking about the incidence, Kangana said that, “We should stop calling it as an attack on soldiers, it is an attack on each one of us and soldiers are our defence. They have laid their lives for us.”
She even went to add that outrage and anger that the people are feeling is completely justified and this situation should be used to take some constructive and concrete steps. “It is my sincere request to our prime minister that Article 370 should be completely scrapped. I feel that after so many years of Independence, no state in our country should face confusion as to where they belong. We should use this time to do something constructive. I wish all the Indians should come together and work on this.”
When the actress was asked in regarding to banning Pakistani artists from Bollywood movies, she said that, “The Pakistani movie going audience always shower us with love but everything has its own Duty, and this is a time to stand with our nation. In this time, we are with our country and Pakistani’s should draw inspiration from us, on the way we (Indians) have come together in unity for our soldiers, our government and our soil they should also. This is not a fight against humanity but this is a fight for our nation. There is no two ways about it”.
Kangana Ranaut was last seen in the movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. It is a biopic on Rani Lakshmibai who is known as the brave-heart that laid her life during the first war of Indian independence.
