KANGANA KI AAJ AUR EK DHAKKAD CHUNAUTI

I am sure, no I know that I would have gone mad if I was in Kangana's dainty shoes during the last one year. I'm sure anyone else would have. I don't have to make a list of what she has gone through, some of her own making, and mostly because of her strange and sometimes dangerous fascination to get into unnecessary controversies. Now, she was apparently quiet for a while, but only this morning she seems to have got into an explosive mood again, and I knew she would do it because after all, it was the eve of the release of her most ambitious film, Thalaivii, a film based on the life and times of the popular Tamil chief minister Jayalalitha, her personal life and her impact on the people of Tamilnadu. All Peter John

Kangana had accepted the challenge of playing the role of Jayalalitha and had gone through all kinds of physical changes to look as real as possible. The film was based on a script written by Vijayendra Prasad who had written Manikarnika for Kangana and Bahubali and was directed by A. L. Vijay. It was to be released last year, but the pandemic came in the way and the release was stalled and Kangana got into every kind of controversy which gave her a name that she could have avoided.

And now two days ago she had a special show of the film for her friend and well-wishers who have been going on an all praise drive for Kangana and everything to do with the film. It seems like an orchestrated drive so obviously and one has to wait and see how this kind of her drive will help Kangana or the films. Thalaivii is being released in the Tamil and Telugu areas today ( September 10) and for reasons which are very obvious, it is not being released in places like Maharashtra and other states which are ruled by Congress and like-minded parties.

Incidentally, Kangana has other big releases like Dhaakad and Tejas ready for release, and knowing the hostile atmosphere against her one wonders how audiences will react to the films. She had made other big announcements about making films of her own about Ayodhya and Kashmir.

Has she mastered the art of forgetting promises and telling lies from her political masters?
