Karan Johar and Pritam to pay homage to legendary artists through Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's music

Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is among the most anticipated films of the year. While launching the first song from the film, Tum Kya Mile, the director revealed it is an ode to his 'guru' Yash Chopra. Now, it is learned that Karan is also paying homage to several yesteryear artists including musicians and singers.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has music woven into a beautiful love story. Karan, who is known to have an ear for good music, teams up with Pritam for soul-soothing renditions. Sources close to the film said that while the film orbits around a young vibrant love story, Karan will pay tribute to legendary artists through the music. It is a love story that has classical iconic songs act as a salute to the golden era of music that Pritam and Karan have grown up listening to.

The first song from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani titled Tum Kya Mile dropped on June 28. The film's trailer featured two more songs titled Jhumka and Dhindora. They're yet to release officially.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani releases in theatres on July 28 and stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt.
