Karan Johar pens a heartfelt note as 'Kal ho Na ho' completes its 20 years…

The film that will make you emotional every time you watch, the film that breaks the stereotype that men can't cry. A romantic drama film that stars Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta in the main lead. It was directed by Nikhil Advani and written Karan Johar. The film was produced by Yash Johar.

The film was released on 28th November 2003, and today it completes its 20 years. On the occasion, the writer of the film Karan Johar shares a heartfelt note on his Instagram account with a video where a glimpse of the film can be seen.

In the note that he shared he wrote, "This film has been such an emotional journey for me and perhaps for all of us, if I have gathered over the many years. To bring such a stellar star cast together with a story that has a beating heart…it’s all kudos to the entire cast and team behind the camera for making ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ still beat strong and within everyone’s hearts."

In his note, he also shared that this was the last Dharma film his father was a part of. He thanked his father for guiding him through. Further, he wrote that even today when he watches this film he can feel his father's presence in every Frame, and this is a very surreal feeling for him.

He concluded his note by thanking the director of the film Nikhil Advani by saying, "And thank you Nikhil for making a directorial debut that is etched forever in all our collective hearts!"

In his note, he also thanked Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Javed Akhtar.
