KARAN JOHAR TO TAKE A BREAK FOR TWINS

Karan Johar is a true example of versatility who is not just a director, producer, host, writer but also an actor. He was last seen in the movie Welcome to New York. Karan has always expressed his love to become a father and even said that he wanted to adopt a child or have a surrogate child. Finally he adopted twins, a boy and a girl, who he has named Yash (after his father, late filmmaker Yash Johar), and Roohi (a rearrangement of his mother’s name, Hiroo Johar).
But now-a-days he feels like he should spent some more time with his kids instead of just working all the time. In order to shift complete focus on his twins, he will be completely shutting off his work mode. Not only will he stay away from directing, but will also abandon plans of doing another season of Koffee With Karan for the twins’ sake.
Says a close friend of the filmmaker, “Of late, Karan has drastically cut down on his work, but he’s still not able to spend enough time with his children. Now, as Roohi and Yash are growing up, they recognise their father, and demand his time. Now is when he must spend as much time as possible with them.”
“He did try to bring his twins to his work, and even got a room specially done for them there. But it’s just not enough. He needs to focus completely on the twins for a while,” the friend adds.
