Karan Mehra becomes father to a baby boy

Television's favourite father Karan Mehra who reprised the role of Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has taken up a new role in his real life. The 34 year-old actor recently took to Instagram to announce that he has become the proud father to an adorable baby boy.

The actor who's been married for five years now to TV actress Nisha Rawal put up an adorable picture of the baby's feet in his and Nisha's hands with a very emotional message to go with it.

In an interview given to indianexpress.com, Karan clarified that both Nisha and the baby are doing fine and they haven't decided on the baby's name yet. The doting couple had earlier appeared together on the dance-reality show Nach Baliye while Karan last hit the headlines for his stint on Bigg Boss. The TV actor has been blessed with several 'Best Father' awards for his show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and we wish him all the luck and hope he's as good a father off-screen as well!
