Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu & Twins Join Dr. Anusha Srinivasan Iyer & Vishvas Mote in BMC’s Be A Tree Parent MEGA Vriksha Campaign

Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu and their environmentally conscious twins Raya Bella Bohra & Vienna Rose Bohra, Dr.Keshav Ghorude joined Vishvas Mote, Asst Comm, BMC K West Ward, Dr.Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Siddhant Gill and Vedant Gill of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation at BMC's Be A Tree Parent MEGA Vriksha Campaign with the planting of a tree near Ritambara College, JVPD.

They joined the likes of Hema Malini, Ranvir Shorey and son Haroon Shorey, Dino Morea, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Bappi Lahiri, Bappa B Lahiri, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Poonam Sinha, Ajay Devgn and son Yug Ajay Devgn, Sonu Nigam, Gulshan Grover, Dr Mickey Mehta, Nikita Rawal, DCP Abhishek Trimukhe, Rupali Suri, Vatsal Sheth, Amit Behl, Ayesha Jhulka, Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka, Saniya Saiyad, Ashnoor Kaur, Advait Mote and MLA Ameet Satam, Veronica Vanij and Malvi Malhotra who are all proud tree parents!

"We love trees, and we always plant trees. My little kids have been accompanying Teejay and myself for various social events and have grown up with the thought of ‘trees are our family’.

I am very glad that we are planting two Tamhan trees today. The efforts of Anusha Srinivasan Iyer of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Vishvas Mote, Asst Commissioner, BMC is laudable.

And I am thankful to the resident adoptee Dr Keshav Ghorude, who will take care of the plant with love, just as he takes care of the college students," averred actor Karanvir Bohra.

By joining this campaign, we will all leave behind green footprints for generations to come."

World Environment Day 2021 marked the start of BMC’s ‘Be A Tree Parent’ MEGA Vriksha Campaign.

Instituted by the K West Ward Asst Commissioner Mr. Vishvas Mote, along with Dr. Anusha Srinivasan Iyer of Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Shaan Lalwani from Vriksha Nursery, the campaign involves and encourages societies and residents to adopt tree pits from the 348 Mumbai locations where trees had fallen in the K West Ward, post Cyclone Tauktae, and replant identified, fast-growing native tree species in those locations. The campaign has caught on like wildfire with many celebs and citizens joining in it.
