Kareena Kapoor Khan: There is some history associated with this story of Saif

Thank you very much to all of you for coming here because I feel this is a very special film for us, there are many reasons. Our biggest cinema actress is Kareena Kapoor Khan in this film. I can't tell you how excited I am that Kareena's Jaane Jaan is a very good experience. I want that I can tell you about the storyline of this film. This film is itself a good film and it also has suspense and drama. There is crime, there is romance and there are many twists and turns, the characters are very good. Sujoy Ghosh is the director of this film. I don't know what you guys are watching on Netflix but yes now Jane Jaan, it will give a very good experience. Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat have a very good role in this as all of them will be seen in very different roles.

Question - Kareena, you are a game changer and the biggest thing is that you are making your first debut with Netflix, what would you like to say about this?

Answer - I am more nervous outside because I feel that things have changed which were there 23 years back and when I was watching the promo, I felt that people were going to watch me very closely, so I am very nervous. We all have worked very hard and Sujoy has made a very good film. I was told that we should work on the book and I said it was a good idea, it just started, and at that time I was shooting for Bhoot Police and at that time I was pregnant with Jeh and I then told Sujoy. Why don't we do it for Netflix everyone is doing so much on Netflix and I don't want to lag behind and I want to work with very good actors. He told me that Jaideep would be good for the professor's role and Vijay for this role and after that, I did not even think twice and said yes. Sometimes I used to stop in the middle of the shot, watching the acting of these two, such good acting. Both of these are very natural. Netflix gave us an opportunity to tell such a love story and that too with so much spice.

Question to Jaideep - Jaideep you are playing the role of mathematician in this film, which means you have done so many good roles, What do you think before saying yes to the role?

Answer - There is nothing like that, I just think that if you get to do something new, when the team is good, a lot of things become easier. When the script came to me and I heard the script, I felt the story was very different.

Question to Vijay - It is your 6th Netflix show, you tell me you love Netflix or Netflix loves you?

Answer - I am in a very good relationship with Netflix, our relationship is very strong.

Anchor: You are looking very nice in the role and it also looks very different from other roles.

Vijay's answer - This is a very good role of an officer and I thought it was a good change.

Question to Kareena - We have always seen you in a glamor role and now in the role of Maya, have you changed anything in yourself for the role?

Answer - Yes means you all have always seen me in a glamour role so not much change but yes a little change has come. Right now the focus was on Maya's role more than anything else.

Question to Jaideep - There are a lot of emotions in the film, as we saw there is jealousy, there is friendship, what was the brief given to you by Sujoy and what adaptation did you make for the role?

Answer - I was already told that this is a love story and that man can do anything for Maya, but there is nothing negative for Maya in that man, he thinks that he is alive only for Maya and he is a little jealous. It starts because Karan enters Maya's life and they too have a history. I just had to capture the emotion that Sujoy wanted to show.

Question to Vijay - This is your 4th release of this year, meaning it is releasing back to back. This year is very good for you, so what would you say?

Answer - I am happy that such a time has come in my life, my work is coming out and people are able to connect with it and I want everyone to say that this was the year of Vijay Verma.

Question to Sujoy: Why do you like such genres so much and there is always a female character?

Answer - I loved this story very much and I wanted to live with the characters Karan, Narain, and Maya. I wanted to know how they behaved.

Question to Kareena - You told me that Saif talks about getting pre-paired how are you and what was Saif's reaction regarding Jaane Jaan?

Answer - Saif is very excited about this film because he has some history related to this film and he has also seen the promo 3-4 times.

Question: This is your first interesting role, how are you feeling?

Answer - I have done many intense roles, but you people don't remember, you all only remember Poo and Geet, I had an intense role in 'Omkara' too.
