KARISHMA TANNA'S TANTRUMS COST HER A TV SHOW

Bigg Boss fame actress and anchor Karishma Tanna is in news once again and for all the wrong reasons. According to reports, the former Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestant, was roped in for the upcoming show Comedy Dangal, but was replaced at the last minute owing to her indifferent attitude.

According to the DNA reports, the show focuses on the two different genres of comedy; stand up and skit comedy, as each team battles it out to make people laugh. Karishma was called in for a promo shoot and the production house had decided to have the actors in a get-up that represents different films, namely Dangal and Sultan. Karishma was also supposed to emulate Anushka Sharma's look from Sultan but she started giving the team a tough time. She kept making changes in her look and though the production house tried to accommodate them, she didn’t finalise them till late in the night. Finally, the makers decided to replace her and got Surbhi Jyoti on board instead.

&TV’s upcoming show Comedy Dangal will have two sections, stand-up comedy and comedy skit. There are two teams headed by comedy queen Bharti Singh and singer-composer Anu Malik. The show will have an impressive line-up of comic artists including Abhijit Ganguly, Amit Tandon, Manan Desai, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Kamya Punjabi, Shikha Singh, Anita Hassanandani and Debina Bonnerjee amongst others.
