Karni Sena demands to change the name of Akshay Kumar's film 'Prithviraj'

Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film 'Prithviraj' which is scheduled to release next month on June 3, 2022, now just before its release the film has been embroiled in controversies, Yes you heard right! The Karni Sena which calls itself the representative of Rajputs has objected to the Title of the film.

Earlier Gurjar Mahasabha had claimed that Prithviraj Chauhan was not a Rajput but a Gurjar king on which a dispute arose and now the Karni Sena has flared up in the name of this film, they have demanded to change the name of the film from 'Prithviraj' to 'Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan'.

According to a report published in Navbharat Times, Karni Sena spokesperson Surjit Singh said "We have met Akshay Vidhani CEO of Yash Raj Films and he has promised to change the name of this film, they are ready to accept our demand".

Let us tell you that till now no statement has come out from Yash Raj Films regarding this issue, even film industry sources say that they do not have any information about the change of name of the film yet.
