She is determined to become a sub Inspector and joins a coaching institute to prepare for the exam. In between, she earns considerable appreciation in that area, as a Radio Jockey in the FM channel run by the church but will she be able to fulfill her dream of joining police force as a sub inspector?

A sudden bond arises between two men, a hard-boiled debt collector and a delicate Cai Luong opera actor. With the help of the latter the earlier faces his traumatic past. Instead of being a gangster, could he still change the direction of his life? The film is a tribute to the Vietnamese folk opera in its 1980s golden era glory, and it ponders traditional arts in the modern world.
