Kathak sensation Shinjini Kulkarni received Kamala Power Women Award

New-age Kathak performer, Shinjini Kulkarni mesmerized the audience with her classical dance performance at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre 15, Janpath, New Delhi on 14th March 2023. She was bestowed with KAMALA POWER WOMEN AWARDS that is an initiative by Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust to felicitate the dedication and hard work done by women in India across different categories. The event by graced by esteemed international ministers.

ABOUT SHINJINI KULKARNI
Dazzled in the world of classical dancing, Shinjini Kulkarni born in the Ninth Generation of the Kalka Bindadin Lineage started off her journey at an early age. Today, one of the nouvelle and youthful Kathak dancers and a philanthropist, she bespangled the stage with her art alongside pursuing History honors from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. Having years of experience in the field, Shinjini adorns her presence through elegant and lyrical performances that enchant the audiences.
Recently, she performed a dance sequence in Director Sh. Muzaffar Ali Ji’s Jaanisaar, under the dance direction of Pt.Birju Maharaj ji. Her recent projects include a kathak-based solo song composed by Pt. Bickram Ghosh for the Bengali movie Har Har Byomkesh which completed 100 days in the cinema halls. Shinjini’s dedication and devotion to the art form have bestowed her with admiration, support, and appreciation.
