Today, for the first time, there is news of appreciation of her selfless efforts from the industry that senior actress Katrina Kaif called her a real hero and praised her work.Katrina added an Instagram story about Shikha Malhotra and tagged her with beautiful words "Shikha Malhotra is a real hero". When we called Shikha to congratulate on this feat, she told that when she returned home tired from her long duty and looked at her mobile, when she saw the tag of Katrina and read her message, she completely forgot her tiredness In response, she immediately thanked Katrina. Referring to a similar mpment, she told us that after the shoot of a scene in the film Fan, Shah Rukh Khan came and hugged her and trold her that she was very special to him and that she will go very far.Shikha has been a part of the Mumbai film industry since taking her nurshing degree and aftrer playing a good character in a film like Fan and Running Shaadi, this year her latest film in a leading role –Kaanchli has been released.Shikha Malhotra came into limelight when she decided to serve the country on Prime Minister Modi’s fervent appeal and using her nursing degree, joined Mumbai’s  Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray hospital as a nursing officer to render yeoman service to the patients there to combat Covid19.
