KATRINA KAIF: I TRY TO SUPPORT WOMEN WHO ARE AROUND ME AS MUCH AS I CAN IN MY WORK SPACE

Katrina Kaif is one popular celebrity in the country today. The actress is on the list of every director to direct and has signed the biggest films with the country's superstars.

Katrina Kaif will be seen working with Anushka Sharma in Zero and Fatima Sana Shaikh in Thugs of Hindostan. 

While interacting with media, Katrina talked about her equation with industry colleagues and said;  “Recently, I’ve become more aware of this, even subconsciously, do we really support our contemporaries- in whatever industry you’re in? I try to support women who are around me as much as I can in my work space. Sometimes a competitive mindset can actually stop you from doing that.”

Katrina said that she can do whatever she can in her capacity.  “Am I lifting up the women around me, am I doing what I can to support, encourage or to help them grow? Rather than just see what they can do for me, I do whatever I can to encourage them to better in their profession,” she added.

Katrina has been very supportive of her friends. The actress earlier said:  “I feel proud of the work that Alia is doing. Honestly, I don’t know others very well. Are there movie roles and maybe a few endorsements that are going to Alia now, for which I would have been the first choice? 100 percent. And is that the way things work or the way things should work? Yes, they should. She is 22 and I am not.”
