Produced by Ashutosh and his wife Sunita ,the movie will be directed by his former talented assistants Ankush Mohla and Glenn Baretto who kick-started the reality story-idea. Bringing to screen the tale of self-reliance and women empowerment, Karram Kurram’ ‘ narrates the engaging story of a feisty lady who started a women’s co-operative organization to bring together six other housewives to earn for their households.

The film will highlight the inception and rise of an FMCG conglomerate, establishing an almost-monopoly in the commercial papad market, under the women’s cooperative group. According to sources associated with the ‘Karram…’ project, Kiara Advani was singled out because she has this brilliant blend of soft charm, an enterprising resilient spirit and the stern strength as was proved in her intense screen performance as Dr.Preeti Sikka in her mega-hit movie ‘Kabir Singh’ opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Currently, the charming actress Kiara is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Indoo Ki Jawaani opposite Aditya Seal. Directed by Bengali filmmaker Abir Sengupta, the female-centric film is touted to be a modern age love story based on the current trend of dating through online applications. The film will depict the story of Indoo Gupta, a spunky, bold girl from Ghaziabad, whose left swipes and right swipes with dating app results in hilarious-dramatic chaos.
