Kiku Sharda tickles the funny bone in Kalasur avatar­

Kiku Sharda and Jamie Lever are all set to be the perfect hosts of this year’s StarPlus’ Star Parivaar Awards 2018. The award show promises to be a laugh riot where Kiku Sharda will be seen entertaining the audience with his comic acts. In the segment ‘Sunhere Pal’, Kiku’s impersonation of 'Kalasur', a character from ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’ is sure to tickle the funny bone of the viewers.

Kiku Sharda will be seen in Kalasur’s avatar and recreating the exact look right from the prosthetic makeup to his hand and rings. Commenting on the act, Kiku revealed, “I had a great time hosting and performing the comedy acts. I especially loved the ‘Sunhere Pal’ segment which was loads of fun to perform and required me to dress up in three different looks of StarPlus’ favourite characters. But, personally, the highlight of the act was to step into Kalasur’s shoes as it is unimaginable to make people laugh in his look. It was a tedious process to get the look right as Kalasur has a very distinct appearance which is created from the use of prosthetic makeup and heavy costume and accessories which includes his hands and signature rings. So, to get into his character was quite a time consuming process since the prosthetic makeup took about an hour. The viewers are in for a visual treat and I hope they enjoy it as much as I did shooting for it.
