“It’s not power, it’s will-power”, exclaims Salman towards the end of the KKBKKJ trailer. So true even in real-life. Despite all the mental tensions ( relating to major security concerns) that he is going through, mega-star-producer-star-maker-mentor Salman Khan dressed in jet-black dress, appeared chilled-out cool, calm yet super-witty during the entire trailer launch of his upcoming action-violence-thriller-romantic film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan last evening. The well-orchestrated event which was flagged off to coincide with the internet media launch of the amazingly entertaining high-octane-dare-devil-stunts-action thriller trailer was very lively as Salman indulged in his famous witty banter and smart punch-lines. The macho Salman Khan marched with his swag into the venue ( escorted by his squad of rough-tough bouncers) with his multiple co-stars. Except for Southside regional superstar and movie co-star Venkatesh Daggubati , who was unable to attend, all the other co-stars in the film including Bhumika Chawla Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari , Tej Sapru and Vinali Bhatnagar. and of course talented director Farhad Samji made their presence felt. Stealing the show at the event were the female stars especially pretty Pooja Hegde in a bright-yellow flowing gown and vivacious super-photogenic Palak Tiwari (daughter of popular TV star actress Shweta Tiwari) who plays a prominent role.
What emerged as a surprise highlight was the super-hit musical Tere Naam movie ( 2003) re-union for Salman Khan and his romantic lead Bhumika Chawla. They are cast together once again after 20 years in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan . Incidentally the 2003 year film Tere Naam, was directed by late (actor-comedian) Satish Kaushik. It’s a fantastic coincidence that while in Tere Naam, macho Salman had long wavy hair and a special hair-style, this time (20 years later) in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,, releasing on ( Friday April 21st) Eid Mubarak festive occasion the charismatic Khan once again sports a wavy long hair-style in certain portions of the movie. . In a mast-mazaak mood while on stage Salman was fondly teasing Bhumika’s and said that although they shared fabulous on-screen chemistry, on the shooting sets of ‘Tere Naam’ it was more of a formal serious interaction. “ Everyday Bhumika used to only wish me ‘hello Sir’, hi’, how’s it going?, lunch? , pack-up? Now 20 years later, on the sets of Kisi Ka.. it’s still the same—consistent--no changes at all “ he said as Bhumika laughed admiring Salman’s caliber and confirmed it to be true, also promising not to call him ‘Bhai’ again . In the trailer of dramatic violence-action-thriller ‘Kisi Ka Bhai…’ it is stunning Pooja Hegde who highly impresses, with her spontaneous performance and smart punch-line dialogues as the outspoken lead female character paired opposite hero Salman.
By the way the racy rhythmic song “Yentamma’ which by now has emerged a Pan-India nation-wide viral dance anthem with Salman Khan dancing in ethnic South Indian attire, is composed by young singer-music director Payal Dev. She was also present on stage at the event and won loud applause for her sensational song.
