KK's death could have been avoided, reveals doctor

On May 31, the famous singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK said goodbye to this world, According to reports, KK who went to perform at a concert at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata complained of ill health. After this he was taken back to the hotel where he collapsed. When he was taken to CMRI Hospital in Kolkata doctors declared him "brought dead".

Now the doctor who did KK's postmortem has told in a conversation with PTI that KK had many blockages in his heart. They said, “KK had a major blockage in the left main artery of his heart, and some smaller blockages in the other arteries as well. Due to excessive excitement during the live show, the blood flow stopped and KK lost his life due to cardiac arrest. He had eighty percent blockage in his left main artery but there was no 100% blockage in any artery, if he had been given CPR on time his life could have been saved.”

KK was cremated at the Versova Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai, Many people from Bollywood had also reached there to pay his last respects and pay tribute to him. KK lived with his wife Jyoti, son Nakul, and daughter Tamara.
