Popular singer KK passed away at the age of 53 in Kolkata he has given unmatched songs in many languages of India including Hindi, he was a well-known face of the industry for the last two decades.
After his death, people are paying tribute to him by remembering his songs and his velvety voice which used to lift the melody of any song very high.
Growing up in Delhi and graduating from Kirori Mal College, KK also worked as a marketing executive for some time after that he came to Bombay in the year 1994 and spent the next five years singing different types of jingles.
In the year 1999 KK's album with Sony Music was released as well as the film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' released, the songs of the album became a super hit, the song 'Tadap Tadap Ke' from the film became the anthem for 'Heartbreak Romeos'. But this song is not the only identity of KK. There are also some songs sung by him which, in spite of the changing times, are holding a corner in the hearts of the people. See some of those songs-
1. Yaaron - If we talk about KK and how this song's name doesn't come, This song from KK's debut album 'Pal' became very popular and is still played during farewells in schools and colleges. It is difficult to find a better song than this that narrates the beauty of friendship and yari.
2. Alvida - This song from the movie "Metro" is one end of sadness, Its like someone's everything has been missed but they cannot believe it. This song became a witness to the sleepless nights of many people, no one counted.
3. Aankhon Mein Teri – When you love someone, you love everything about them, When Om's character sees Shantipriya in the movie 'Shanti', he could not believe that someone could be so gentle, so beautiful, so full of emotion. This song, written for that moment, Aankhon Mein Teri Ajab Si Ajab Si Adaaye Hai, KK played it in such a way that behind every word there seems to be an anecdote.
4. Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai – When this song came out, it was as if the high school and college students found the words to speak their heart. Kyun Aajkal Neend Kam Khwaab Jyada Hai, Lagta Khuda Ka Koi Nek Iraada Hain. KK recorded the lyrics written by Nilesh Mishra so exquisitely that beyond the gap of generations people kept that song in their chest.
5. Dus Bahane - Love always happens slowly, slowly not necessarily. It is like Talatum and it is easily understood by listening to these Dus Bahane. There is love in this song but it is mind-blowing. Uncontrollable love lost in Jado and in this too, KK spread his voice in such a way that even today people cannot stop themselves from dancing on this song.
There are many songs, many stories, many hearts, many tales and one "KK" whose voice will always resonate across time.
