Follow UsSinger Krishnakumar Kunnath, famously known as KK, passed away at the age of 53 on May 31 after performing a concert in Nazrul Mancha auditorium Kolkata.

According to reports,after performing at the concert the singer went to his hotel where he collapsed and was rushed to a private hospital in the city where he was pronounced dead.

The Singer was "brought dead '' to the CMRI's hospital around 10 PM. Yesterday the singer also received a Gun Salute at the Kolkata airport and West Bengal's CM Mamata Banerjee also paid her tribute to the late singer. Later in the evening his body was brought to his hometown Mumbai.
Since today morning many renowned celebrities like Javed Ali, Hariharan, Papon, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Shankar Mahadevan, Salim Merchant, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal and others have reached the Late singer's house to pay their last respects to him. KK's last rites were performed at the Versova Hindu cremation ground by his son Nakul Kunnath whose videos and photos are also going viral on social media.
