Famous singer KK died on the late night of 31 May, 53-year-old KK was in Kolkata to perform at a concert after which his health deteriorated and he collapsed. On being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him 'brought dead'.
Now filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee who has worked with him has told that KK had recorded a song with him which has not been released yet but will soon be in front of the people.
In a conversation with India Today, filmmaker Srijit Mukherji revealed that KK had recorded a song for his upcoming film Sherdil - The Pilibhit Saga, Srijit said “This song is very special, It is written by Gulzar Sahab and sung by KK and this will probably be his last song for a film."
When KK was recording this song, he had also posted a picture on his Instagram with Gulzar sahab and Srijit from the recording studio in which he told that he is recording a song for the film Sherdil, Recently, a video also went viral from the same occasion in which KK was singing the song 'Chhod Aaye Hum Woh Galliyan' from the movie 'Maachis' and Gulzar Sahab was watching him mesmerized. This video was also shared by Srijit.
In an interview to India Today, Srijit also told about his conversation with KK, He said “I was telling KK that we are meeting for the first time but your voice has been with me through many ups and downs of my life. The songs you have sung, whether it is heart breaking, friendship, or general philosophy, I have been a very old friend of your voice.
Sreejit also told in the interview that Gulzar sahib used to like KK very much and their work together has turned out to be very good. He will soon share the song with the people. KK's funeral will be held today on June 2, 2022 in Mumbai.
