KRITI SANON TO CAST OPPOSITE ADITYA ROY KAPUR IN MOHIT SURI'S NEXT

Last year there were reports that Kriti Sanon and Aditya Roy Kapur were to team up for an upcoming movie. The things did not materialize then, but this year seems to bring this Jodi on screen finally. There are reports that the two actors will mostly be paired opposite each other in Mohit Suri's next.

According to a leading daily, Aditya was locked first for the film by Mohit Suri. “Aditya has not had a release in the last one year after OK Jaanu. He wanted to try out something he’s never done before. He was Mohit’s first choice because they are great friends.”

Now, the filmmaker wants Kriti on the board. The daily added, “They met a couple of times and Kriti and her team have verbally given the nod to the film. But they are yet to lock the dates and sign on the dotted line." IT is said that Kriti has ‘liked the idea’ of the movie, but there was no progress a while ago. Now, it’s finally on track. The final round of modalities needs to be worked on. “Kriti will give her dates once she’s back from Chandigarh where she’s shooting for another film. Mohit’s venture should roll in the next few months.”

Though there are rumors that it will be a love story but the leading daily quoted its sources, “It’s an edgy romantic thriller. It was an idea that Mohit was toying with for quite some time and he has finally cracked the script.” The film will also feature another male lead. “It’s a love triangle between a girl and two boys. The hunt for the other male lead is on. They have also spoken to a few young actors and once they get a confirmation, they will announce the film,” adds the daily.

It will be interesting to see Kriti Sanon and Aditya Roy Kapur romance each other.
