Kriti Sanon to star in the film 'Adipurush' as Sita, breaks the internet with the announcement

Elevating the audience's excitement, the actress Kriti Sanon has announced her entering the world of 'Adipurush'.

The versatile actress will be essaying the role of Sita against Prabhas as Ram

Kriti, who is known to be one of the directors' favourite and bankable actresses, took to social media to break the news.

Sharing the picture with the cast, the actress said she is "honoured and beyond excited" to be a part of this venture.

'Adipurush' is one of the biggest Indian films being planned in the coming year. With the makers roping in Kriti Sanon along with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in leading roles, fans are beyond thrilled to watch their magic on the big screen.

Talking about casting Kriti Sanon as Sita, the director Om Raut said, “When I was casting for the female lead, I needed an actress who not only has an amazing screen presence but more importantly, is also a great performer. Kriti was our obvious choice for the film."

Having a packed slate for this year, the actress is currently busy with the shoot of 'Bhediya' with Varun Dhawan. Kriti also has Vikas Bahl's 'Ganapath' opposite Tiger Shroff and Laxman Utekar's 'Mimi' in her kitty.
