The final shooting of producer Amulya Das’s maiden film in Hindi titled Pushpa I Hate Tears being directed by Kapoor Dinkar is being held briskly at the Angel Studios in Goregaon in Mumbai. When I walked in on the sets to cover the shooting of a elaborate dance sequence being picturised on the title song Pushpa I Hate Tears , which is a rarity these days, I saw Krishna Abhishek with Arjumman Moghul, Kannada super star Jairam Kartik, pretty new comer Anusmruti Sarkar and over 100 dancers including Russian blondes. The dance song was being picturised by none other than Lollypop Krushna Abhishek is thrilled that he has been able to perform for the first time in his career an out and out negative role in Pushpa I Hate Tears, which is a tribute to the late super star Rajesh Khanna.
What is interesting to note is the fact that the title song was recorded in the voice of Krishna Abhshek and was picturised on him, Jairam Kartik, Anusmruti Sarkar and Arjumann Moghul. Says Krushna Abhishek, “For the first time in my career I am playing an out and out negative role in the film which also marks my debut as a playback singer. Originally Mika was scheduled to sing the number but at the eleventh hour when Mika could not get the time to record the song, music director Ramji Gulati requested me to croon the song and thus I ended up making my debut as a playback singer too by accident. “.
