Kubbra Sait, Kunal Kapoor Urge People To Come Forward For The Aid Of Children Suffering From Thalassemia Through Pyar Ka Blood Test

On this 8th May - World Thalassemia Day, UnErase Poetry has decided to do its bit towards the cause of Thalassemia. The struggles of Thalassemia warriors have always moved them and hence they decided to raise funds on Ketto - Asia's most trusted crowdfunding platform - in order to support these brave warriors battling Thalassemia. For the uninitiated, Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin. Thus, patients suffering from Thalassemia Major do not have normal healthy red blood cells and need blood transfusions every fortnight just to survive. The average life expectancy of a Thalassemia Major patient is only 22-26 years. 

The Wishing Factory is a not-for-profit organization established in November 2015 that is committed to helping terminally ill Thalassemia Major and Leukemia (Blood Cancer) patients by sponsoring their education and healthcare and also fulfilling their wishes. So far, The Wishing Factory has fulfilled 400 wishes across India. From bicycles to visiting Adlabs Imagica, helicopter rides and destination wishes of Goa and Manali they have fulfilled them all. The organization has also fulfilled celebrity wishes of meeting actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh, Huma Qureshi etc. Kubbra Sait and Kunal Kapoor are the latest celebs who have urged people to come forward to help children suffering from Thalassemia through Pyaar ka Blood Test starring them on Youtube!  Due to the ever increasing medical expenses, it is very difficult for the families to fulfil their child’s desires and therefore they are trying to raise funds and surprise the kids with experiences that they can chrish for a lifetime. This will certainly cheer them up and also make you happy. Thalassemia is easily preventable by a simple blood test. To spread more awareness and bring a change, post a picture of your face cropped to half and tag three others to do the same and join the #Aadhiwali Zindagi Mitao movement.
