I don't have to be a film historian , film trade analyst or an astrologer to predict how some very big stars have not been able to have their big films released during the last two years - Ali Peter John

Some like Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have been lucky to see their films released even though in difficult circumstances caused by Covid19 and now Omicron.

But doctors and specialists are hopeful of conditions getting better in the next two months which will be very good for all of us , but especially to the stars who have not been in the limelight .

If Covid is kind and conditions come under control , we will see the return ( Ghar waapsi ) of stars like the three Khans , Aamir , Salman Shah Rukh , and even Saif Ali Khan .

It is still too early to say what will happen to Shah Rukh Khan who has been having a bad time for more than two years . It is only a miracle that can see Pathan through and be released in 2022 .

It will take at least another year to complete and a year more to see it being released , but SRKs fans are hoping to God that Pathaan is released in 2022 . The wait for their king is growing unbearable for them .

Nothing is clear about the film of Salman , but there is hope that he will soon start work on a couple of films , of which at least one is expected to see the light of day in 2022 .

The only Khan who has all the hopes of releasing his most eagerly awaited film "Laal Singh Chadda " is Aamir Khan who has lost a great deal of time due to Covid . He has just wrapped up the shooting of the film and us hoping to release the film as soon as Covid shows signs of leaving .

One hero who is sure to come back in 2022 is Akshay Kumar who has three big films lined up for release and if Akshay has any competition in 2022 , it is from his contemporaries , Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn.

The other super hero who is expecting 2022 to be a big and adventurous year 2022 for him is Hrithik Roshan .

The actor who last had a big release with "War" now has two big films in the making, "Vedha Vikram " based on the mythology of Vikram and Betaal.

And Hrithik has "Fighters" directed by his War director Shaad Ali and which has him working with Deepika Padukone for the first time .

Some other big stars like Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol who made grand roles in Ashram and The Big Bull had seen Abhishek Bachchan in his real form , may be seen in other OTT films too again .

Whatever it is , the industry is hoping , begging and praying for Covid to give it relief that can bring back the stars who have been staying away from studios and theatres.

The stars will have to make a ghar waapsi if the industry has to have any hope of having a bright future in the times to come .
