3 IPS officers suspended due to actress Kadambari Jethwani affair

The Andhra Pradesh government has suspended three senior IPS officers in connection with the complaint of Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethani. Kadambari Jethani had accused the police of wrongful arrest and suspension.

Let us tell you that former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu, former Vijayawada police commissioner Kranti Rana Tata and former Vijayawada deputy commissioner Vishal Gunni were the three IPS officers who were issued suspension orders signed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Kadambari Jethani had filed an FIR in August

Meanwhile, Kadambari Jethani filed a formal complaint with NTR Police Commissioner S.V. Rajashekar Babu in August, accusing the officers of conspiring with YSR Congress Party leader and filmmaker K.V.R. Vidyasagar, who had filed a case of forgery and extortion against her in February. She alleged that top police officials, in collusion with Vidyasagar, harassed her and her parents, arrested them and took them from Mumbai to Vijayawada without any prior notice.

Kadambari Jethani's land documents were tampered with 

Jethani, a native of Mumbai, said the police humiliated and illegally detained her and her elderly parents, causing her family to spend more than 40 days in judicial custody. Jethani's lawyer N. Srinivas alleged that Vidyasagar had tampered with land documents to implicate Jethani and her family and that the police did not allow them to file a bail plea for several days.

Kadambari Jethani is a model-actress

Kadambari Jethani is a 28-year-old model-actress. She made her debut with the Hindi film "Sadda Adda". She has acted in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi films. These include Ouija (Kannada), Ata (Telugu), I Love Me (Malayalam) and O Yaara MV Loot Gaya (Punjabi).
