Bollywood actress Mona Singh did a great job with Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots and Lal Singh Chaddha. In the film Lal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan, Mona Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya were seen in the lead roles. Mona Singh played the role of Aamir Khan's mother in Lal Singh Chaddha but the film did not perform well at the box office. Recently, in an interview, Mona Singh talked about her bond with Aamir Khan.

Mona Singh said this about Aamir Khan

In fact, Mona Singh said in her recent interview, "When I am upset I don't call him or ask him what to do, but when we are on the set, I am very curious and keep asking him weird questions. 'Why is this important in the script? Why is something like this?' He is very intelligent; he knows everything. He is clear and sorted. I really respect him a lot. I think I am one of those lucky stars who got a chance to work with Aamir Khan twice in two decades. I feel lucky and fortunate".

Lal Singh Chaddha did not get a good response at the box office

Mona Singh also talked about how sad she was when Laal Singh Chaddha did not do well in theaters. She said, "Of course, it hurt. We shot for so many days, had such a good bond, such a good picture was made, but it did not get that response in the theater. We were all a little broken. It got a new life on Netflix. Suddenly, people started talking about the film, and it got a lot of praise and love. I knew there would be disappointment in theaters, but looking back, I think it will achieve cult status in the years to come."

Mona Singh also revealed that despite the film's lukewarm response at the box office, a heartbroken Aamir Khan hosted a party to celebrate the team's hard work and everyone was happy. The actress said, "Aamir sir is the only actor who can throw a party to honor everyone's efforts after a flop. He said, 'What if the film doesn't work? That shouldn't stop us from celebrating.' He invited everyone from the crew to the stars. He took responsibility for the film's failure and that's why I have a lot of love for him. Everyone was happy because it was doing well on Netflix and people started creating groups on Facebook asking why it didn't succeed in theatres."
