Aamir Khan is one of the best actors in the Hindi film industry. He has many blockbuster films to his name. Aamir Khan was last seen on the big screen in Lal Singh Chaddha, which is releasing in 2022. The film was a flop at the box office. After this film, Aamir had decided to quit acting. At the same time, now in an interview, Aamir Khan revealed the reason behind this.

For this reason Aamir Khan took this decision

In fact, in his recent conversation, Aamir Khan said, "I have never done six films simultaneously in my life. This time, I had my own reason for it. When I finally decided that, 'Okay, I will not quit films now', the next thought that came to my mind was that perhaps this is the last 10 years of my active working life."

'I have about 10 years of active life left'- Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan further said, "You can't trust life, we can die tomorrow. So, I am saying, I have about 10 years of active life left. I am 59 years old. By the time I am 70, I hope I will be healthy enough to be productive. So, then I thought, I should make my last 10 years the most productive. More than that, as I am getting older, I want to support talents I believe in - writers, directors, all creative people. I want to be a platform for talents I believe in before I retire at the age of 70. That's why I did more films."

Aamir Khan expressed his wish

In the same interview, Aamir Khan also expressed his desire to experience retired life. Recalling the time when the actor announced his retirement to his family, Kiran Rao said, "Can you imagine him sitting around without doing any films and doing nothing? His daughter told him, 'Please papa, you can't spend all your time with us, we will go crazy'." Aamir Khan then joked, "I would love retired life. Reading books, doing yoga.

Aamir Khan said this

Aamir Khan returns as a producer with Missing Ladies, which is India's official entry for Oscars 2025. He wants to make more such films in the future. To make his vision possible on a larger scale, the actor also appointed Aparna Purohit as the CEO of Aamir Khan Productions. Talking about this, he said, "I cannot work on a larger scale alone. If I want to support talent on a larger scale, I will need someone who will take care of it while I am busy with my other projects."
