Actress and producer Kavita Chaudhary passed away

Television actress Kavita Chaudhary has passed away at the age of 43. The actress died last night, on 15 February 2024, due to a heart attack. He breathed his last in Amritsar. There is a wave of mourning in the entire industry due to the demise of Kavita Chaudhary.

Kavita became an IPS officer in Doordarshan's show Udaan

Kavita Chaudhary played the role of IPS officer Kalyani Singh in Doordarshan's show Udaan in 1989. She is the younger sister of police officer Kanchan Chaudhary Bhattacharya. Kavita has also produced two more television shows - Yours On and IPS Diaries.

Anang Desai confirmed the death of Kavita Chaudhary

Actor Anang Desai confirmed that Kavita Chaudhary passed away on Thursday night. He said, "I came to know this morning that Kavita is no more." She died last night. This is so sad. She was our batchmate in the National School of Drama. We studied together in NSD for three years during our training. Kavita, Satish Kaushik, Anupam (Kher), and Govind Namdev were together in the same batch.

Kavita was seen in surf advertisements

Kavita was also known for playing the role of Lalita Ji in the famous surf advertisements in the 1980s and 1990s. Here she played the role of an intelligent housewife who is judicious while spending her money and always makes the right choice. Udaan was re-telecasted on Doordarshan during Covid. At that time, Smriti Irani said, "For some people, it was just a serial, for me it was a call to free myself from situations that I found impossible to overcome."
