Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi made her debut as a writer at the 12th edition of the Literature Festival (BLF) held in Bangalore on December 2. In this literature festival, she launched her first book 'Zeba: An Accidental Superhero'.
Talking about the book, Huma said that "the book is a fantasy fiction novel set very specifically between 1992 and 2019. It talks about a make-believe kingdom and an evil king and how a girl named Zeba defeats him with her superpowers." The book has been published by Harper Collins India.
Huma shared started writing
Huma also shared how she started writing this book during the pandemic and called this a stream-of-consciousness writing, “I started this book during Covid. I used to wake up every morning, take a shower, work out, and then sit down to write. And I call this stream of consciousness writing – just sit down with a laptop and keep writing.”
The actor has also shared some glimpses of the event on her social media.
The launch event for this book was held at SOHO HOUSE-01 where celebrities like Diana Penty, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonali Bendre, and Saqib Saleem were seen at the event to support the actress.
