Ahmedabad Air India Plane Crash: The plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat has shaken the whole country. Today, on 12 June 2025, an Air India plane crashed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. There were 242 people on board this plane going to London. Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani was also among them. Bollywood stars have expressed their reaction on this plane crash. 

Celebrities react to plane crash in Ahmedabad

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has also given his reaction on the plane crash on his X handle. Akshay Kumar wrote, "I am shocked and speechless by the Air India accident. There are only prayers at this time".

Sunny Deol wrote on Instagram, "Shocked by the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad. My heartfelt prayers are with the survivors. May they be found and get the care they need. May the souls of those who have lost their lives rest in peace and may their families find strength in this unimaginable time."

Parineeti Chopra expressed grief over the incident and wrote, "I can't imagine the pain of the family members of the unfortunate Air India flight today. I pray to God to give them strength in this difficult time".

Riteish Deshmukh shared his condolences and wrote, "Heartbroken and shocked to hear about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts are with all the passengers, their families and everyone affected on the ground. I pray for all of them in this extremely difficult time."

Randeep Hooda wrote on his ex handle, "Heartbroken to hear about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My condolences and prayers are with all those affected. Hope for the survivors and strength to the rescue team. May the souls of the departed rest in peace and their families find strength to bear this immense loss." 

Sonu Sood reacted to the plane crash and wrote, "Praying for the Air India flight which crashed in Ahmedabad after taking off for London."

Air India confirmed the accident

For your information, Air India confirmed the news on X and wrote, "Flight AI171, operating Ahmedabad-London Gatwick, was involved in an accident today, 12 June 2025. At this time, we are ascertaining the details and will share further updates on our X handle as soon as possible."

There were 232 passengers on board the plane 

For your information, let us tell you that Air India's plane going to London, Flight AI 171, crashed during takeoff at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Ahmedabad Airport on Thursday (Ahmedabad-London flight crashes). Videos and pictures of thick smoke rising from the accident site immediately started going viral on social media. Fire engines have reached the spot. There were 232 passengers on board the plane, including two children. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to the Chief Minister, Home Minister and Police Commissioner of Gujarat regarding the plane crash incident.
