Housefull 5 Pune Event: The cast of Sajid Nadiadwala's ' Housefull 5' attended an event in Pune to promote their upcoming comedy film. Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma and Fardeen Khan were in attendance. However, the fun occasion soon turned into a tense situation when the massive crowd made crowd management challenging. The situation worsened to such an extent that it almost led to a stampede, which prompted Akshay Kumar to intervene and call for calm.

In a video going viral on social media, young girls and women can be seen crying while those sitting in the back were jostling to get a better look at the stars. Amid this chaos, several videos surfaced on social media showing fans, especially women and little girls, upset. In one clip, a little girl was seen crying near the stage, who was separated from her parents. Jacqueline Fernandez intervened to console her and assured her family of her safety. A worried Akshay Kumar grabbed the microphone to address the audience and urged them to remain calm. He said with folded hands, "Don't push. I request with folded hands, there are women here, children here... I request everyone, please." His co-stars looked on with concern.

After the situation came under control, the 'Housefull 5' team carried on with the event. In some videos, Akshay Kumar was seen playing fugdi with fans and artists, with the crowd cheering loudly for him.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is set on a luxurious cruise and has lots of laughter, unexpected twists and foot-tapping music. Housefull 5 is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It is the fifth installment of the Housefull franchise. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever. It is set to release in cinemas worldwide on June 6, 2025.
