Allu Arjun Files Petition to Dismiss Case

Allu Arjun has approached the Telangana High Court, seeking the dismissal of the case filed against him in connection with the stampede at Sandhya Theater. The police had charged the actor for entering the theater during the premiere show without prior notice. The incident took place during the premiere of Pushpa 2, when Allu Arjun arrived at the theater unexpectedly, sparking chaos among the audience.

A case has been registered under Sections 105 (punishment for not being guilty of murder) and 118(1) R/W 3 (5) (voluntarily causing injury or grievous harm) of the Indian Penal Code. Allu Arjun is now seeking legal relief from the court regarding the charges.

In an attempt to control the situation, the police resorted to mild lathi-charge. Once the crowd was dispersed, those who had fainted due to suffocation were rushed to the hospital. Tragically, a woman was declared dead by doctors, while her son was severely injured in the incident.
