AA22xA6 New Update: South director Atlee's upcoming action drama AA22xA6 is in the news these days. Allu Arjun will be seen in the lead role in the film. Recently, the makers welcomed Deepika Padukone in the film. Now reports are coming that Allu Arjun will undergo a look test for AA22xA6, which is the beginning of the initial stages of what is expected to be a high-octane commercial entertainer.

In fact, according to a Mid-Day report, "It will be an eight-hour long shoot. A special announcement photo shoot has also been planned for June 11, 2025. It is one of the biggest productions in India right now and Atlee wants to do it in the most grand way possible. The shoot will begin on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the same location. The makers have tentatively titled it AA22xA6. They have put together the best Hollywood technicians on the project. The team has already arrived in Mumbai. They will start small with a few key scenes and then the film will be shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad and several other locations. The details have been kept under wraps to avoid further leaks from the sets."

Deepika Padukone will be seen with Allu Arjun

Recently, the makers shared a video of Deepika Padukone from the film. In the video, Deepika Padukone has been officially welcomed to the project. At the beginning of the clip, the actress is seen chatting with director Atlee, in which she discusses the script before starting preparations. The scenes indicate that Deepika is stepping into a full-fledged action role in AA22xA6. The caption accompanying the video praises her as a "queen" ready for "Vijay", setting the tone for her powerful presence in the film.

Allu Arjun will be playing a double role in the film

Earlier there were reports that the film might have a story with two heroes, but Allu Arjun's team recently clarified that the actor will be seen in a double role, adding another interesting twist to the story of the film. The film will hit the floors in mid-2025, while it is planned to release it on a large scale in 2026.
